Updating simply to show off
Jan. 11th, 2006 03:37 pm1) this new icon (thanks
charlibrown!) which I love 'cause it's a rather Jica-esque statement.
2) the fact that I'm not asleep, and I have in fact been up being productive since eight o'clock this morning.
3) the fact that all of my to do list except the cleaning is done, and that Emily basically told me I didn't have to clean, so I can be done now.
4) the fact that although I fell twice today, there is no blood, no ripped clothing, and nothing that will scar.
5) the scenario of fall #1:
(Jica wipes out on sidewalk in front of La Prieure, exactly the same place as last time. Caitlin and Jenny stop.)
Jenny: Oh my God, are you ok?
Caitlin: You all right? Need a hand up?
Jica: (Getting up unassisted, dusting self off) No blood! Cool!
Caitlin: (to Jenny, amazed) Wow, she's, like, a stud, or something!
(All continue to bus stop chattering merrily.)
Yes, yes I am. Girls were also shocked about my workout routine. Caitlin is going to start yoga and asked if we wanted to go. All of us voiced the need for more exercise and were talking about our routines, which consist of not a hell of a lot. I was bitching about how lame my ten-to-ones have been recently (ten crunches, ten push-ups, ten jumping jacks, then sets of nine, eight, etc. making 55 total of each exercise and done without pause. . .the only exercise I get here other than stretching and walking everywhere.) They seem to think this is rather intense. I only get to it about three times a week, and I used to do it as well as a circuit of the weight room. To me it barely counts. . .wtf?
Go me. Now I think I will watch a movie and rest my legs.
