Hello October, have some points of interest:
  • Grad school apps have been postponed while I figure out what it is I actually want to do, because I don't know.
  • I need a desk, and to make some personal physical space so I have room to work. On anything.
  • I really should clean in here today.
  • I've decided to do NaNoWriMo this year.
  • I had tea with [personal profile] oliviacirce  yesterday, and I'm so glad our orbits have crossed again.
  • Despite the seemingly inevitable melancholia, this is my favorite time of year.
  • I have been trying to be a better friend lately. I think it is working.
  • Yearning for something you used to have is not the same as yearning for someone who once had you. I am trying to learn this. It is exceedingly difficult.

My last day at TS is Sunday. This is a happy! But, I tend to forget to do stuff without outside impetus. So, this is my cheat sheet, of stuff I like, so I remember to do it. In no particular order:
  • Cooking
  • Having a clean bathroom (I should clean it.)
  • Watching movies with Cadence
  • Going to the library
  • Building websites
  • Playing AO with [personal profile] littlemissrachel
  • Learning computer programming stuff
  • Reading comics and graphic novels
  • Binging on TV series
  • Reading up on linguistics
  • Listening to/watching French media
  • Hanging out with K
  • Studying pagan stuff

1) this new icon (thanks [livejournal.com profile] charlibrown!) which I love 'cause it's a rather Jica-esque statement.
2) the fact that I'm not asleep, and I have in fact been up being productive since eight o'clock this morning.
3) the fact that all of my to do list except the cleaning is done, and that Emily basically told me I didn't have to clean, so I can be done now.
4) the fact that although I fell twice today, there is no blood, no ripped clothing, and nothing that will scar.
5) the scenario of fall #1:

(Jica wipes out on sidewalk in front of La Prieure, exactly the same place as last time. Caitlin and Jenny stop.)
Jenny: Oh my God, are you ok?
Caitlin: You all right? Need a hand up?
Jica: (Getting up unassisted, dusting self off) No blood! Cool!
Caitlin: (to Jenny, amazed) Wow, she's, like, a stud, or something!
(All continue to bus stop chattering merrily.)

Yes, yes I am. Girls were also shocked about my workout routine. Caitlin is going to start yoga and asked if we wanted to go. All of us voiced the need for more exercise and were talking about our routines, which consist of not a hell of a lot. I was bitching about how lame my ten-to-ones have been recently (ten crunches, ten push-ups, ten jumping jacks, then sets of nine, eight, etc. making 55 total of each exercise and done without pause. . .the only exercise I get here other than stretching and walking everywhere.) They seem to think this is rather intense. I only get to it about three times a week, and I used to do it as well as a circuit of the weight room. To me it barely counts. . .wtf?

Go me. Now I think I will watch a movie and rest my legs.
