Back from Spain

We had a wonderful time, saw lots of art and the Basillica. Lucky us, there was an engraving exhibit of Rembrandt at La Predrera (sp?) the Gaudï apartment building. Saw random archeological museum, saw La Sagrada Familia, yay pretty architecture. At the Basilica they have a shrine of Nuestra Virgen de Montserrat, the Black Madonna. . .I think I may have cried. It was really insanely gorgeous. Got to show off my knowledge of Catholicism explaining the stations of the cross and the shrines to Emily. At the museum there were a ton of crucifixes. . .the really freakin' big ones. They creep me out.

Went to McDonald's and sat explaining identity politics and butch-femme and my life and every-fucking-thing. . .I think she finally gets enough for it to cease being a problem. More on this in a few days.

Ok. Emily quote time. Upon seeing Ter's AIM icon, which is the same as my ex's:

Em:Are you talking to Alana?
Me: No, why? Oh, because Ter's icon is the same.
Em: Yeah, and I was like, you don't IM a llama [mispronouncing]
Me: No, I neither IM a llama nor Alana. I fail on both counts.
Both die laughing.

So yeah.

Ok, wtf it's like freezing rain outside. Non-sexy rain. I completely disapprove.
