Charlie Brown, amazing drummer, friend, and mentor, died Monday evening of a massive heart attack. This is dedicated to him.

So many things I wanted to tell you about life, about France, about the world. So many things I wanted to ask you, about music, about love, about plants. I wanted to know how you knew Amy was the perfect woman. I wanted you to tell me stories about the Lenape natives. I wanted to close my eyes in the cabin and feel the warmth you and Amy create there. I wanted to share so much with you about who I have become. I want you to know how wonderful you are. You are one of the most amazing souls I have had the honor and privilege of knowing. I only wish I could have known you longer.
