It's actually not that bad of a one. . .just the mild, tearful, why oh why is there not a college bookstore??
180 Euros of debt later, I have sold my soul to Amazon for the chance to have my books a few days before I need them. My wallet hurts. My head, when I commence the ultimate cram sessions of French lit and sixteenth century history that will follow the arrival of these packages, will hurt more.
What else what else. . .still working out ideas re:Monterey/grad school in general.
History small section prof is hot and unmarried. If there's one thing that could make me go to a class at five p.m. on a Monday, it's the chance to impress this woman. Or stare at her. Either/or.
I have fun music in my world. Also, in the past two days I have called my parents, Maria, [livejournal.com profile] layitlarge and [livejournal.com profile] stormynytia from the fac or the tram. Fun times. Loving cell phone. Baby bee, drop me an email or IM with your numero and I'll call you too.
Fun movie/debate about lesbian visibility in Europe from the 40s through today last night. Saw Fabrice, Thierry, and Marina, so will be going back to MCC. Also unfortunately saw K&A, but whatevs.

Just for my own knowledge and to avoid having to write it by hand:
Translation--C'etait la vie. . .
TRA intro para
More Giono
Baudelaire ASAP
Massacre of St. Barthélémy thing
Malraux ASAP
Grammar negation fiches
Reading aloud--PHO extracts.

Should cover homework 'til the end of the month. Off to work on that and see if anyone interesting calls tonight.
