My mother has said I should have been a French kid in the twenties for just ages. And ever since I read Sylvia Beach's memoir of the original Shakespeare & Co. bookstore, I'm inclined to agree. I think my mother's opinion sprang from the "If you could wear anything what would you wear?" conversation we had when I was 16. I came up with the thought that dressing like a slightly less flash Gatsby would work quite well, and told her so. God bless the woman, she never so much as blinked.

Worked some on the collage today. . .it would be better if it had a theme of some kind, but I'm kinda liking it.

A relatively productive day, go me!

Worked on the collage, it's beginning to get spots that are filled in, as opposed to having a few random things stuck on there are now two dense spots that I quite like.

Made a Garageband recording of me reading the "fifteen" piece I posted the other day, it isn't the best but it was fun to play with Garageband again.

Looked for an air mattress and also a camera cord, failed to find either. Did, however, find new pretty posters for the apartment so now the bedroom looks like it's mine.

Cussed like a sailor hanging up said posters because we aren't allowed to use stickytack or drive our own nails, so I was jamming tacks into the wall with my thumbs. There will be a weekend of spackling and painting in late April. Luckily I like that kind of thing.

Bought groceries and made a hot dinner.

Yay productivity. Also venting a lot of stuff lately. . .mostly through art stuff but also through talking. If I've been talking to you lately, you've heard it. Thanks for being there to hear it.
