ding, dong, the hedgehog's dead!

Okay. The hedgehog that my baby bro had for six years is dead. We've been kinda ready for this for a while, as she'd doubled her expected lifespan. Keith is kinda bummed, as is natural. However, S. and A. had some sort of inside joke about hedgehogs that was really aggravating, so somehow this feels vindicating. Which is rather silly. But true.


And for one desperate moment there, he clicked back in her memory. God, it's so painful, somethin' that is so close is still so far out of reach. . .Oh yeah, all right, take it easy baby, make it last all night, she was an American girl.
