Why is it that waking up is immediately more do-able with Dire Straits?
I am far too firm a believer in the curative and restorative properties of honey. And tea. And apples.
Part of the joy of being a sensualist is that at the right moment, a perfect red delicious apple can be as satisfying as an orgasm. Particularly if said apple is perfectly chilled and eaten at 4 in the morning. *grin* Hurrah for simple pleasures.
CHALLENGE:
Everyone who feels like it, list a simple thing or action in your life that makes your world a better happier place.
I'm feeling like I made the best resolution ever when I cut back on the negativity in my world. I'm finding lotsa small happy stuff everyday.
AND AND AND today if I get the housework done I get to go indulge my longing for pens and paper and posterboard and glue and markers. I love paper and office/school supplies. . .yay new semester. I will also be making (if all goes according to plan) a gigantic collage for my wall (hence the posterboard). I miss doing collage. . .they're extremely fun because they're puzzles that I make up and I get to play with scissors! Very excited about this. I have not collaged really since high school. . .I had all of these fantastic themed collages from emotional crap I was working through. I'm not terribly visual otherwise. . .don't really draw or paint, so this makes me feel really good.
Speaking of scissors, my hair is in my eyes. I kinda like it though. I wonder how long I can stand to keep it this way.
EDIT re: housework: Proof that the Devil does not exist: I have never once been offered the opportunity to sell my soul for a Swiffer WetJet. There are days that I'd do it. Accursed floors!
