Off like a herd of turtles.

I leave at approximately 5 a.m. tomorrow for the land of no technology. No internet, no phone that people can call (you will awaken my grandparents, but I can call out. Maybe.),no mailbox. No communication. I am also going to get fat, as my grandmother feeds us so much food that we invariably begin to look like sacks of wet cement. I will be stuck going absolutely crazy and getting fat. Possibly shopping, although I hope to avoid accumulating any more crap to lug to school. My other grandmother is retrieving my new laptop on Saturday and I am phoning about Financial Aid (bah bah bah bum. . .Certain Death!)* later today. My job at the video store is over. Thank gods. I have to pack for TN, and then when I get back I must pack for school and see everyone important.

*==Identify the quote so I have something fun to read when I return!

I think that's it, although there may be more when I go to Daddy's tonight.

22 days til MoHo.

Love,
Jica

What's wrong, son?

...I wanna drink goat's blood.

But son, it's only Tuesday.

You can't ask us, you can only ask one of us...

Duh. It's from Labyrinth, one of my favorite parts actually. The one with the two (four?) guys in front of the doors, right before the Hands. i once spent a very long car ride running through that movie in my head, and paused at that part to double check the logic. It works out. i'm a geek, i know.
